Bengal matinee idol Dev wins from Ghatal

Kolkata, May 16 (IANS) Reigning Bengal matinee idol and Trinamool Congress candidate Dev Friday won Ghatal Lok Sabha seat, trouncing his opponent Santosh Rana of the Communist Party of India by a massive margin of 260,939 votes.

Dev romped to victory by bagging a whopping 685,122 votes while Rana came in second with 424,183.
