BD Arya College president Dr Parmod K Aggarwal passes away

Jalandhar: B.D.Arya College, Jalandhar Cantt., paid tributes on the sad demise of the college President, Dr.Parmod K. Aggarwal. Hailing from an illustrious and highly respected nationalistic family of Northern India, he has been a worthy son of Late B.D.Aggarwal, Chairman of B.D.Group of Industries and President of College Managing Committee of B.D. Arya College, Jalandhar Cantt. His dynamic approach, innovative ideas, entrepreneurship qualities, love to promote quality education, sports, social harmony and integration shows his selfless service to the society. He has been actively associated with numerous social, educational and industrial organisations. He generously gave substantial contributions regularly to PM’s Relief Fund, Rotary, Aarohan-NGO and B D Kusam Hospital etc. He has been the vanguard of public upliftment and his sudden demise is an irreparable loss to the institution and society. Because of his strong public administration acumen and a charismatic persona, many distinguished personalities and the Prime Minister paid a visit to the college. 

Advocate Sh.K.L. Gupta, College Management, Principal Dr.(Mrs) Sarita Verma, teaching & non-teaching staff paid homage to the departed soul and expressed their heart-felt condolence to the bereaved family.
