BD Arya College organised event to celebrate international women’s day 

Jalandhar: B.D.Arya College, Jalandhar Cantt organised an event to celebrate International Women’s Day and recognise the contribution & significance of the women as educators and nation builders. 
On this occasion Mrs.Puneet Chadha, Member Cantt Board; Mrs.Santosh Sharma, Principal K.L.Arya Girls High School, Jalandhar Cantt; Mrs.Babita Joshi, Principal S D Model School, Jalandhar Cantt; Mrs.Gurpinder Kaur, Principal Cantt Board Girls Sr. Sec School, Jalandhar Cantt; Mrs.Rosy, Vice Principal KV No 2, Jalandhar Cantt; Mrs.Kuldeep Kaur, Principal Govt. Sr. Sec School, Jalandhar and Mrs.Inderjit Kaur, Sarpanch Village Lesriwal, PO Adampur, were felicitated for playing a role in shaping the society. 
A vibrant cultural programme was presented by the PG Department of Dance  and Music. A Fashion Show was also organised by the PG Department of Fashion Designing and cosmetology wherein ethnic wear round, kids wear round, innovative round on’ Refuse Reuse’ left the audience spellbound. 
Principal Dr.Sarita Verma delivered the welcome address highlighting the theme of International Women’s Day 2020: “I am generation Equality: Realizing Women’s Rights.” 
Mrs.Nupur Chopra and Mrs Kulpreet were the in-charges of the event and Dr.Meenu Nanda conducted the stage.
