Jalandhar, March 7, 2023: B.D,Arya College, Jalandhar Cantt organised an event to celebrate International Women’s Day to accelerate gender equality and empowerment for a more sustainable tomorrow.
On this occasion, Officiating Principal Dr.Parminder Kaur, Prem Sagar, College Management Member, the Staff and the students paid homage to the crusader of women education and empowerment- Swaraj Mohan, Former Director-Cum-Advisor of the college.
Addressing the students, Principal highlighted the pivotal role played by Swaraj Mohan in shaping the lives of girl students of Cantonment and the surrounding villages.
Monica Maini, HOD, Maths Dept., presented a poem on the contribution of Swaraj Mohan.
