Ludhiana, August 15, 2026: BCM School, Dugri, celebrated Independence Day with immense patriotic fervour, pride and enthusiasm. The celebration brought together the school staff, students, Principal and esteemed guest Ar. Sanjay Goel ,Chief Architect,Designex Architects,Ludhiana to commemorate the spirit of freedom and honour the sacrifices that shaped the nation.
The celebration commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by the Principal, staff members and the distinguished guest, followed by the National Anthem. The sight of the Tricolour fluttering proudly high filled the atmosphere with a deep sense of national pride and unity. Adding vibrancy to the celebration, the students presented a patriotic dance performance dedicated to the brave soldiers of Indian Armed Forces, paying tribute to their courage, dedication and selfless service in safeguarding the nation's sovereignty. A mesmerising Kathak dance performance showcased India’s rich classical heritage, beautifully blending tradition, rhythm and artistic expression. The celebrations were further enlivened by a special dance performance by the teachers who beautifully captured the essence of freedom, unity and the indomitable spirit of India. Their participation added a unique warmth and joy to the occasion, making the celebration truly memorable.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Dr. Vandna Shahi conveyed her heartfelt Independence day greetings to everyone present and remarked "Independence Day reminds us that freedom is both a privilege and a responsibility. Let us inspire our children to uphold the values of unity, integrity, compassion and patriotism. May we continue to contribute towards building a stronger, brighter and more harmonious India."
The celebration concluded with a renewed sense of patriotism and pride, leaving everyone inspired to cherish the nation’s freedom and fulfill the responsibilities as proud citizens of India.
