Ferozepur, February 1, 2014: Supporting wide-spread campaign against the China-made string, Lions Club (Aashirvad) today organised a two day Basant Mela at local M.L.M.School to rejoice the welcome of spring season.

Expectations were high after the first Basant Mela was successfully organised by Lions Club last year. Keeping the tradition alive, the organisers tried their best to put on a great show this year too.

The two days mela started with a bang embracing performances from Pollywood Film Star and singer Roshan Prince, Voice of Punjab winner, Anantpal singh and Happy Armaan, who also launched his new album on this delightful occasion.

Kamal Sharma, President, Punjab BJP, Sher Singh Ghubaya, MP, Ferozepur, grapple their hands in the kite flying competition.  Besides this, Anchor Gurnaam Sidhu and Harinder Bhullar made people glued to their seats.

People had lot of option to enjoy themselves. Various stalls of eatables were available besides different kind of competition were also organized like singing, dancing, kite flying, comedy show, magic show, which eventually won the hearts of the audience.
