Lucknow, May 8 (IANS)  A banker has been booked for abetment to suicide in a case related to a woman banker who was found hanging at her house in Aliganj on April 16.

She last had a talk with her beau Vishnu Kumar Meena of Jodhpur in Rajasthan. Vishnu is also a banker and had met the victim when both were undergoing training after their selection for bank services.

It was alleged that Vishnu developed physical relations with her on the pretext of marriage.

It was further alleged that Vishnu was also in a relationship with another girl and the woman banker came to know about this.

She said her daughter had told her that she developed a liking for Vishnu during the training.

“Seeing the happiness on the face of my daughter I could not deny. But Vishnu was dilly dallying. He kept promising her that he would marry her,’ the mother of the woman banker alleged.
