Bank of Baroda Contributes Rs 2 Crore to Armed Forces Flag Day Fund for Educational Scholarships
Bank of Baroda has contributed Rs 2,00,16,000 to the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund (AFFDF), under the aegis of the Kendriya Sainik Board, Ministry of Defence. The contribution has been made as part of the Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative to support educational scholarships for 834 children of ex-servicemen, martyrs, and their widows.
New Delhi, March 20, 2026: Bank of Baroda has contributed Rs 2,00,16,000 to the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund (AFFDF), under the aegis of the Kendriya Sainik Board, Ministry of Defence. The contribution has been made as part of the Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative to support educational scholarships for 834 children of ex-servicemen, martyrs, and their widows.
The cheque was formally handed over by Beena Vaheed, Executive Director, Bank of Baroda, to D. S. Basera, VSM, Secretary, Kendriya Sainik Board, in the presence of M. V. S. Sudhakar, General Manager & Zonal Head, Bank of Baroda, New Delhi Zone.
Bank of Baroda reiterated its deep commitment to honouring the sacrifices made by the nation’s armed forces. The Bank remains dedicated to supporting the families of ex-servicemen and martyrs through impactful initiatives that promote education and long-term empowerment.
