Cyclothon to spread awareness for green and clean environment
Ludhiana, July 21, 2019: Bank of Baroda, Regional Office, Ludhiana celebrated 112th Foundation Day of the bank.
On the occasion, bank organised cyclothon in the city to spread awareness for green and clean environment as well as against the menace of drugs.
The event was organised by Surinder Lamba and YK Gupta, Regional Head. It was supported by Punjab police and Punjab Kesari, and it was attended by more than 300 participants.
YK Gupta, Regional Head, Bank of Baroda informed that Bank was founded on July 30, 1908 by Maharaja Sayajirao Gaikwad-III. After amalgamation with Dena Bank and Vijaya Bank w.e.f April 1, 2019, Bank is second largest public sector bank of country with 9500 plus branches. In addition, bank is also having presence in 25 countries with 100 plus overseas branches. Bank of Baroda is offering a bouquet of services to its customers with best of technology. After amalgamation, Ludhiana Regional Office was inaugurated on June 4, 2019. There are a total 97 branches under Ludhiana region.
