Mumbai, February 19, 2018: After going through a sluggish patch, the real estate market seems to be back on a recovery path post-RERA. The developers are now pinning hopes on the buyers being receptive and making plans to purchase their dream homes. This gradual change in the real estate market is being attributed to the availability of affordable housing.

Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Housing for all by 2022’, the developers in maximum city are taking the ‘affordability’ factor and constructing houses that suit every home buyer’s pocket. This activity is slowly turning the realty market upside down.

Who would have imagined a 1BHK flat for just Rs 75 Lakh in Bandra, the most happening suburb of Mumbai? But it has become a reality since Shivalik Ventures, one of the premier developers, is doing just that. The developer has launched its premium project ‘Bandra North’ in the suburb where it is offering 1BHK flat for Rs 75 Lakh.

While the price has been attractive, the response the developer is getting from home buyers has been overwhelming. Shivalik Ventures has sold 60% of the exposed inventory and home-seekers have been making a beeline at its office for enquiries.

Expressing satisfaction over the response Bandra North project has been generating, Mr. Ambresh Tipnis, Director, Shivalik Ventures, said, “Our project is situated at the heart of the city. While connectivity has been the USP for the project, the affordable rates along with state-of-the-art amenities are adding to the glamour quotient. We are committed to completing the project by 2022. Shivalik Ventures has developed a trust among investors since its inception and it will help in fulfilling our vision of providing affordable housing to every Mumbaikar.”

Spread across 6,617 sq.mts plus of land, the project will have 874 apartments spread across 14 wings. The Bandra North project is set to cater to the housing requirement from all categories that include affordable, mid-income group and premium. The contract has been awarded to New Consolidated Construction Company Limited (NCCCL), wherein the first phase of the project will be completed by 2022.

Also called as the Gulmohar Avenue project, it is situated off Western Express Highway, which is well connected to Bandra Kurla Complex, Bandra-Worli Sealink and Mumbai Airport. This is one of the premium projects comprising of unique amenities and is expected to change the landscape of suburb.

Considered as a new address of Mumbaikars in the future, the project will provide children’s play area, multipurpose hall, automated passenger elevator, automated car lifts, backup generator, electric supply for emergency services, electrical sub-station, select high street retail avenues and modern fire-fighting equipment with sprinklers in all areas.

With state-of-the-art amenities, the Bandra North project will help Mumbaikars own their house in prime suburb. With this, Shivalik Ventures hopes to live up to its tagline of ‘Be Mumbaikar’ in real sense.
