Banarsi Dass Arya College celebrates Constitution Day

Jalandhar, November 26, 2019: Banarsi Dass Arya College, Jalandhar Cantt., celebrated the Constitution Day in honour of 125th Birth Anniversary of Dr.B.R.Ambedkar – the architect of the Indian Constitution, under the ambit of Nehru Studies Centre. The students were made aware about the preamble of the constitution and the significance of celebrating this day. A documentary on the signing and adoption of the constitution by the constituent assembly was also shown and the students presented very engrossing speeches on the Constitution of India. Ms.Anjali from Political Science department highlighted the features of Indian constitution. Principal Dr.Sarita Verma exhorted the students to acquaint themselves with the Fundamental Rights and Duties, and to take a pledge to always abide by the Constitution of India. Ms. Shallu, Ms.Mandeep Kaur, Ms.Anjali and Ms.Kiran Sharma were the incharges of the event.
