Ban imposed on drones, paragliding and other air flight for Nov 8 and 9 in Kangra district

In view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's proposed visit to Kangra district on November 9, a complete ban has been imposed on paragliding, drones, helicopters, hot air balloons and flying related to aerial sports in the district.

Dharamsala, November 7, 2022: In view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's proposed visit to Kangra district on November 9, a complete ban has been imposed on paragliding, drones, helicopters, hot air balloons and flying related to aerial sports in the district. This ban will be in effect from 5 pm on 8 November to 5 pm on 9 November. 

District Magistrate Kangra Dr. Nipun Jindal has issued orders regarding this. This decision has been taken keeping in view the security arrangements due to the Prime Minister's visit.

The District Magistrate said that the person or institution violating the order will be punished under section 188 of the Indian Penal Code.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address rallies in Chambi near Dharamsala in Kangra and Sujanpur in Hamirpur on November 9.

The polling for 68 seat assembly of Himachal is fixed for 12 th November and the results shall be out on 8th December.
