Bajwa facilitates people on Parkash Utsav of Sri Guru Gobind Singh

Chandigarh, January 6, 2014: Partap Singh Bajwa, President, Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) today extended greetings to all people of Punjab on eve of 348th Parkash Utsav of tenth Sikh Guru Sri Guru Gobind Singh.
In a message here Bajwa said that Sri Guru Gobind Singh was a true revolutionary who fought against the system and made supreme sacrifices of whole family in his fight against injustice. He said that Guru Gobind Singh brought equality in the society by inventing the concept of 'Punj Piaras' (Five beloveds) who belonged to different castes. He said that message of social equality and zero tolerance to injustice was relevant even today. He said that all political parties must take an inspiration from Sri Guru Gobind Singh and work for forming vibrant society.
He said that Guru Gobind Singh was greatest protector of human rights and Sikhs all over the world has deep devotion for the values of tenth Sikh Guru.
