A delegation of Pathankot Road Manufacturers Association meets Partap Singh Bajwa, President, Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) at Jalandhar on Thursday.

Jalandhar, October 17, 2013: Partap Singh Bajwa, President, Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) today extended full support to call of Punjab Bandh by Punjab Road Manufacturers Association who is fighting for justice.
Bajwa gave an assurance to a delegation of Pathankot Road Manufacturers Association which met him here today. The delegation led by Ashwani Aggarwal apprised Bajwa about their demands. He also told the PPCC president that SAD-BJP government was not listening to their grievances thus forcing them to resort to agitation. He assured that Congress party would support their agitation for genuine demands.
Aggarwal said that state government had added industry in the illegal colonies list, the VAT refund was not being made and their capital is blocked due to non-payment of VAT refund. The association opposed advance tax and also demanded to rationalise property tax rates.
Meanwhile, a delegation of Aggarwal Sabha Jalandhar also met Bajwa here.
