Aykai Hospital, bikers and police organised bike rally 

Ludhiana, September 19, 2021: Uro-Oncology Institute of Aykai hospital today organized Motorcycle Rally to observe September as Prostate Cancer Month. On Sunday , A team of around 100 passionate bikers including , renowned Urologist & Transplant Surgeon, Chairman Aykai Dr B S Aulakh & his Team, Punjab Police Academy Phillaur & Super Bikers from all over Punjab  took expedition of around 27kms around the City starting from Guru Nanak Stadium and accomplished at Aykai Hospital  to spread awareness in the community regarding Prostate Cancer& Uro Cancers .The rally was Flagged of by Respected Shri N K Chand IRS, Principal Commissioner Income Tax and Mayor Mr. Balkar Singh Sandhu . Mr Chand  said he is happy to be part of this campaign and one should be particular about screening and early checkup. The participants carried placards with messages for cancer awareness during the ride. Dr.Baldev Singh Aulakh,  sensitized folks that Prostate cancer is the second leading cause of death in men , generally people get worried when they are diagnosed with Cancer but thanks to today’s technology, cancer patients have a very high survival rate and the journey has become easier. Hence there is tremendous need to create awareness about prostate cancer. Dr Aulakh added that  Prostate cancer is one of the common cancers affecting 1 in 8 men above the age of 50 and it affects different patients differently.If you are concerned about your Father, Brother, Son, Nephew, Father in Law, Brother in Law, Son in Law then you must get them evaluated as early as possible. Studies have shown that in some patients, it grows very slowly and may not cause any problem but in other patients it may grows fast& produce symptoms which might be lethal and needs aggressive treatment. Hence public needs to know real course of treatment in their respective cases from qualified urologist and not fall prey to any misinformation on WhatsApp, internet or so called uneducated experts.  One must know the risk factors for prostate cancer such as obesity, smoking , diet rich in dairy products , certain genes and family history . Dr.Aulakh mentioned the motive behind this rally is to enlighten  more and more people of our City so that they must come forward and get themselves investigated to avoid future complications, 
The Rally was received by well known Singer & Artists Mrs. Amar Noorie, Mr. Feroz Khan, Mr.Kamal Khan & Mr. Masha Ali, They all congratulated all the members for actively participating in this event and for its successful completion.The riders were felicitated by Mrs. Noorie & her team. Mrs Noorie mentioned that awareness plays an essential role in humans life and these kind of activities will definitely bring advertance amongst  individuals.
