Ludhiana, May 19, 2013: Association of Ludhiana Machine Tool Industries organised an ‘Awareness Programme-cum-Workshop’ on SIDBI’s role in the upgradation of machine tool industries.
Balbir Singh, Senior Manager, SIDBI, Ludhiana, interacted with the members. He explained the proactive role of the bank. He said the bank has large number of policies that can make easy finance available. Besides, the bank offers subsidies on machinery and equipment purchases.
The second topic was the import and export issues. Speaking on the topic, Darshan Singh, Joint General Foreign Trade invited members to get registered with them and make use of the services offered by the office. He asked the members to go for the exports in a big way and get the benefits offered by the directorate.

S.S. Raikhy, GM DIC, explained the ongoing support programmes for MSMEs.
