Onkar Singh Pahwa, Chairman, Avon Cycles Limited shared his valuable experience on the importance of SMEs. He told that the SMEs are playing a key role in the industrial development of the economy. “In our enterprise, we put a great deal of reliance on the small unit”, he said, adding, “Many of these serve as ancillaries.”
Adding, he said, “We all work, grow and prosper alongside”, adding no doubt there are problems like sub-optimal scale of production, supply chain inefficiency, fund shortages etc. But they offer a lot more competitive production. The big and the small complement each other.
The programme has jointly organised in collaboration with Ministry of External Affairs and AIMA’s Local Management.
