Bikaner/Badnu, November 5, 2025: Avaada Foundation, dedicated to creating positive social change, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to support and sponsor the Rajasthan state-level Under-17 and Under-19 girls' cricket teams from Mahatma Gandhi Government School, Badnu, for the next two years.
Having already supported the teams for the past year, the Foundation will now bear all expenses, including nutrition, transport, sports equipment, and other necessities. This initiative aims to allow the talented players to focus completely on their game without worrying about finances.
The agreement, which was signed by the Director of Avaada Foundation and the School's management committee, also had signatures from the players' parents to affirm their commitment.
“India’s recent Women’s World Cup victory shows the power of opportunity,” said Vineet Mittal, Chairman, Avaada Group. “At Avaada, we’ve been investing in that belief for over a year, supporting young girls from rural Rajasthan to rise, compete, and inspire the next generation of champions.”
"We believe sports is a powerful medium for empowerment," said  Ritu Patwari, the Director of Avaada Foundation. "These girls have consistently performed exceptionally. Through this partnership, we are excited to support them in realizing their potential and bringing laurels to Rajasthan on national and international stages."
The teams have a strong track record. The U-17 team, current state champions, is set to compete in the Nationals in Telangana in January 2026. The U-19 team, the state runners-up, will participate in the Nationals in Shivpuri (MP) in January 2026. This sponsorship is a major boost for rural talent and will help strengthen Rajasthan's sporting future.
