Author Amish celebrates the Mumbai launch of Dhruv - Tara & The Great Indian History Quiz with young readers from Yuva Unstoppable at Crossword with a special video message from Twinkle Khanna

Mumbai, August 14, 2026: Westland Books marked the launch of bestselling author Amish Tripathi’s debut children’s novel, Dhruv - Tara & The Great Indian History Quiz, with a special evening at Crossword, Kemps Corner, Mumbai. The event brought together readers, parents, young book lovers and fans of Amish’s work for an evening centered around the book, history and the joy of storytelling.
The evening began with the official launch of the book to an excited audience of young readers, with Amish Tripathi joined on stage by his son, along with his entire team who worked with him on Dhruv - Tara & The Great Indian History Quiz and five children from Yuva Unstoppable, an organisation supported by Amish. The book was officially unveiled through a ribbon-cutting ceremony, after which Amish introduced a large-format version of the book to the audience.
Following the launch, Amish Tripathi engaged in a fireside chat with Vidhi Bhargava, Publisher, Children’s & Acquiring Editor at Westland Books. The two spoke about Amish’s first foray into children’s literature, the inspiration behind Dhruv - Tara, the first book in a seven-title middle-grade adventure series, and his vision of making history feel less like a collection of dates and facts and more like a story waiting to be discovered.
The conversation was followed by the screening of the book trailer and a special video message from actor and author Twinkle Khanna, who congratulated Amish on the launch of Dhruv - Tara & The Great Indian History Quiz And extended her best wishes for the book’s success among a new generation of young readers. The event then opened up to an engaging Q&A session, which received an lively response from both children and parents.
