Jalandhar, February 10, 2013: Auction of Parking Stand in New Sabzi Mandi, Jalandhar, stands cancelled.
This was stated by Iqbal Singh, SDM-1 and 2,Jalandhar here today.
He said that the open auction for the parking stand of the New Sabzi Mandi, Jalandhar, fixed for February 11, 2013 at 1100 hrs has been postponed due to publication of notice in news papers, just before a day of the fixed schedule.
The SDM said, today, the telephonic complaints were received in this regards and the interested parties informed that due to short notice, it is not possible for them to participate in the said auction due to non completion of documentation to participate in this auction scheduled to be held tomorrow.
The Secretary of the Market Committee, Jalandhar has been issued the show cause notice to explain the position as why the notice was not published in time in newspapers.
A fresh date of the auction shall be announced by by tomorrow, giving at-least minimum 10 clear days notice to the general public as well as to the interested persons.
