Atharva Foundation has taken a noble initiative to donate ambulances for the welfare of army veterans, ex-servicemen and martyred soldiers’ families from the North East states of India.

Chandigarh, May 6, 2022: Atharva Foundation has taken a noble initiative to donate ambulances for the welfare of army veterans, ex-servicemen and martyred soldiers’ families from the North East states of India.

Under this initiative, the two ambulances were handed over by Sunil Rane, chairman of Atharva Foundation to the representatives of Sikkim and Nagaland states.

During the occasion, Col. Ram Mohan HQ MG & G Area, Col. (Retd)  Prabhat Kumar Kapoor , Capt. Raghavendra SS 15th Battalion The Assam Regiment, Capt Vivek Shinde, 129 Air Defence Regiment and Vinay Jain the founder & chairperson of Witty Group of Institutions were also present.

The Foundation has also planned to donate 4 more ambulances in Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura and Mizoram states.

Sunil Rane said that ambulances are not only to carry patients during emergencies but also to facilitate them during their regular hospital visits. Medical emergencies or accidents can occur at any time and during such difficult situations, the first help is a local ambulance service that can transport the patient to the nearest hospital or other definitive care for immediate treatment, he maintained.

Meanwhile, the Foundation has also donated laptops to the daughters of martyred soldiers across the country.
