Ludhiana:     The Punjab School Education Board is conducting Punjab State TET examination on January 19, 2020. In view of that, the District Magistrate Ludhiana has banned the assembly of five or more persons outside the examination centres as well as use of loudspeakers within 100 metres of examination centres from 8 am to 3 pm on that day.

District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner Mr Pradeep Kumar Agrawal informed that it has come to his notice that sometimes, there is a huge rush of people outside the examination centres on the examination day, which leads to problems for commuters that can also cause law and order problem. Similarly, sometimes, loudspeakers are used during programmes near the examination centres and the students face problem in attempting the exam due to that. So keeping in mind all these factors, these ban orders have been issued, that would remain in force on January 19, 2020.
