Assembly of 5 or more persons outside examination centres banned

Ludhiana: District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana Mr Pradeep Kumar Agrawal has banned the assembly of five or more persons outside the examination centres as well as use of loudspeakers within 100 metres of examination centres from 8 am to 3 pm on that day. These orders would remain in force till April 14, 2020.
Mr Pradeep Kumar Agrawal informed that the Punjab School Education Board is conducting examinations of class eighth, tenth and twelfth. It has come to his notice that sometimes, there is a huge rush of people outside the examination centres on the examination day, which leads to problems for commuters that can also cause law and order problem. Similarly, sometimes, loudspeakers are used during programmes near the examination centres and the students face problem in attempting the exam due to that.
