Ashwani Kumar awarded for his continuous 27 years services to PU

Chandigarh: During the Global Alumni Meet 2021 Valedictory Session on 23rd January, 2021, Mr. Ashwani Kumar, Sr. Assistant, Establishment -1 (Teaching), Panjab University was awarded for his continuous 27 years services to University and for his various services including representing Panjab University as Captain of the Panjab University Non Teaching Cricket Club for three years and also represented the All India Vice Chancellor Cricket Cup Tournament as Captain for Panjab University, Chandigarh and after that as a team member and continuing. He also participated in the 100 Meters race organized by the PU Sports Department for the Non teaching staff members, where he secured 2nd position twice. Apart from this he is a very good actor and has played an important roles in the Shri Ramlila Committee (Regd.), Chandigarh, Sector 17, Prade Ground, Chandigarh since 1996 as Maghnath, Khavat, Vashwa Mitar, Vibhasan, Khardusan, Neekumb and Shantanu. And his one Hindi movie ‘A Sip of Life Darling’ is coming very soon. He is also member of Shri Ram Navamii Utsav Committee (Regd.), Hind Smachar Bhawan, Jalandhar honored him, Shri Ram Utsav Committee Chandigarh. Apart from this he has helped in organizing of making the Blood Donation Camps as successful and also helped the Chandigarh Traffic Police in creating awareness about the ‘Use of Helmet for Women’ in the setup of Meghnath. So, keeping in view of the vast experience of Mr. Ashwani Kumar was honoured in the Valedictory Session of the Global Alumni Meet.
