Ludhiana, April 16, 2026: An academic talk on “Application of Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare with a Focus on Literature Reviews and Medical Research” was delivered by Dr. Rajinder Chawla, CEO, Accuscript Consultancy, Ludhiana was held today at Hero DMC Heart Institute, Ludhiana. The talk was attended by along with senior faculty members, researchers and more than 60 students.
Dr. Chawla highlighted how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming healthcare research, especially systematic literature reviews and evidence synthesis.
He emphasized that the rapid growth of medical literature makes AI tools essential for efficient research workflows.
Dr. Amit Kishore, Associate Director, Accuscript Consultancy, demonstrated Sympro AI, an AI-powered platform developed by Accuscript for systematic literature reviews and medical evidence synthesis, aimed at helping researchers streamline study selection, screening, and analysis.
The session was chaired by Dr. Kunal Jain (Associate Professor, Medical Oncology), Dr. G.S Brar (HOD Surgical Oncology) and Dr. Manjinder Sidhu (Radiation Oncologist) who appreciated the relevance of AI in advancing clinical research.
The talk was highly impactful in demonstrating that AI is now a necessity in healthcare research, with tools like Sympro AI expected to significantly improve evidence generation and clinical decision-making.
