AROs to issue permission for loud speakers to parties and candidates- DEO Sakshi Sawhney

Ludhiana, March 27, 2024: The District Election Officer (DEO) Sakshi Sawhney has authorized all Assistant Returning Officers (AROs) of Ludhiana Parliamentary constituency including Ludhiana East, Ludhiana South, Atam Nagar, Ludhiana Central, Ludhiana West, Ludhiana North, Gill, Dakha, Jagraon and AROs of Khanna, Payal, Samrala, Sahnewal and Raikot under Fatehgarh Sahib Parliamentary constituency to issue permissions for the use of loudspeakers and other similar devices by political parties and candidates during the Lok Sabha elections. The permission must be granted strictly in accordance with the provisions of the Punjab Instrument (Control of Noises) Act 1956 and Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules 2000.
