Army recruitment rally at Ramgarh Cantt from October 21 to 23

Jalandhar, October 7, 2013: The Sikh Regimental Centre Ramgarh Cantt (Jharkhand) will be organising a recruitment rally at Ramgarh Cantt under Unit Headquarter Quota for wards of Son of Servicemen/Son of Ex-Servicemen Son of Widows/Son of War Widows and Brother of Servicemen for enrolment of Soldier General Duty and Soldier Tradesmen (Chef, House Keeper, Steward and Washerman) from 21 Oct 2013 to 23 Oct 2013.  No recruitment will be carried out in open category.  All Sikh candidates except Mazbi, Ramdasia, SC and ST from any states/UT of India (only for relationship candidates) can appear for Soldier General Duty category.  As regards screening for Soldier Tradesman (Chef, House Keeper, Steward and Washerman) relationship candidates from state of Bihar, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra will be considered.  Screening for Soldier Clerks/SKT relationship candidates from any States/UT of India (AIAC) only for the wards of serving and Ex-Servicemen belonging to the Sikh Regiment can appear.

For Soldier General Duty, candidate should have passed class X with min 33% mark in each subject and 45% marks in aggregate.    Candidates hailing from J&K except Jammu, Samba and Kathua districts should have passed simple 10th class.  For Soldier Clerk/SKT  Class 12th pass candidate with min 40% marks in each subject and 50% marks in aggregate will be considered.    For the category of Tradesmen (Chef, House Keeper, Steward and Washerman) candidates should have simple class 10th and above.  For House Keeper should have passed 8th class and above.

Candidate should be between 17 ½ - 21 years of age for Soldier General Duty category and 17 ½ to 23 years for Soldier Clerk/SKT and Soldier Tradesmen category.
