Architects Welcome Union Budget For Smaller Houses

Ludhiana, February 29, 2016: Architects from Ludhiana as well as Punjab under the banner of The Indian Institute of Architects Chandigarh Punjab Chapter has welcome today’s Union Budget in terms of upcoming smaller housing specially for poor in India.

In a statement here today, Ar Sanjay Goel, Chairman, the Indian Institute of Architects Chandigarh Punjab Chapter(IIACPC) said with 100% tax deduction for companies building house up to 30 square meters more and more builders, colonizers and developers will construct more houses for poor.

With more tax rebate for first house, hopefully more and more people will construct houses which will add to more employment.
No Services Tax For building house up to 60 square metres is another good step announced by Central Government.

Architects has also welcome Government decision to Spend Rs 9000 crores for Swach Bharat Mission and Rs 97000 crores for Roads which will help in creating smart cities.

Although decision are small for construction industry but still are good for construction community including architects, planners and engineers.
