Applications sought from anganwadi workers for selection of supervisor

Chandigarh, October 10, 2022: The Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann's government is committed to the welfare of employees. Under this series, applications have been requested from the Anganwadi workers of Punjab state for the selection of supervisor among the Anganwadi workers.

Minister for Social Security, Women and Child Development Dr. Baljit Kaur gave further information and said that applications have been requested from the Anganwadi workers for the selection of supervisors from among the Anganwadi workers working in the Anganwadi centers being run in the state of Punjab. Under this selection, the benefit of reservation will be given as per the reservation policy of the state government.

The Cabinet Minister said that Anganwadi workers who want to apply in this regard can apply at the office of the concerned Child Development Project Officer by 21 October 2022. Applications received after the specified time will not be considered.
