Chandigarh, November 26, 2015: Applications are invited for Federal Bank Hormis Memorial Foundation scholarships for the batch 2015-16, from students studying Medicine, Agriculture, Engineering, Nursing or MBA in the states of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Maharashtra. Students applying for the scholarship should have secured admission under Government quota in Government, Aided and Self-financed colleges at any of the above mentioned states during the academic year 2015-16. The annual family income of the applicant should be below Rs. 3 lakh. The scholarship is instituted in memory of the founder of Federal Bank, Shri. K P Hormis.
The shortlisted twenty students in each discipline will be reimbursed 100% of their tuition fees, as per the fee structure, subject to a maximum of Rs. 1 Lakh per year. One seat in each discipline will be kept aside for physically challenged students, which shall be duly evidenced by a certificate issued by a Medical Officer not below the rank of DMO or an approved Medical Officer of the Bank. If applications are not received from eligible candidates under ‘physically challenged’ category, it will be utilized under general category.
Application form for the scholarship can be downloaded from the Bank’s website, www.federalbank.co.in. The duly filled in applications shall reach us at ‘Head-CSR, Corporate Social Responsibility Cell (CSR), Federal Towers, Marine Drive, Ernakulam, Kerala- 682031’ on or before 19th December, 2015.
