Applicants now can avail benefit of general caste certificate services online: ADC

Ludhiana, June 16, 2022: Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development) Amit Kumar Panchal today said that now applicants seeking General Caste Certificate Services can avail the benefit of these services by submitting the online application at home link https://connect.punjab.gov.in/ or contacting nearest service center with the required documents. 

The ADC said that now there was no need to submit the file at any office as it was mandatory in the offline mode wherein hand signed certificates were being issued. 

However, for the convenience of the general public, the entire process of acceptance and delivery of General Caste Certificate from application filing to delivery of certificate has been digitized by the Department of Governance Reforms, he said adding this service has been made available from June 07, 2022 through Service Centers as well as Connect Portal.
