Jalandhar, December2, 2015: Apeejay Institute of Management Technical Campus organised Apeejay Zenith 2015, an inter-school multi-event meet in their premises. The event comprised various literary, creative and IT competitions. Around 200 students from 15 schools and collegiates like HMV Collegiate Sr. Secondary School, Apeejay School Ramandi, Apeejay School Mahavir Marg, Dayanand Model School, Shiv Jyoti Public School etc. participated in Ithe event. There were eighteen competitions which included Debate, Extempore, Poetical Recitaion, Quiz Competition, Calligraphy, Collage Making, Clay Modelling, Face Painting, Idea Generation, Nail Art, Mehndi, Power point Presentation, Cartooning, On-the Spot Painting, Network LAN Gaming etc.
The event was graced by various renowned personalities like Mr. Dilip Singh Rana alias the great Khali, Mr. Youngveer RJ 92.7 Big FM and Mr. Kashish Seth, a young entrepreneur and artist.
The inaugural ceremony began with a Ganesh Vandana . It was followed by a Welcome Address by Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director Apeejay Institute of Management Technical Campus. Dr. Bagga in his address welcomed all the students from various schools motivated them saying that participation is more important than winning. It is imperative that students be given maximum opportunities to showcase their talents for their holistic and harmonious development. He added that such competitions have great educational significance as they help polish the intrinsic potential of the students and rekindle their passion and zeal for learning. The students were then shown a PPT on the academic and co-curricular achievements of Apeejay Institute of Management Technical Campus by Ms. Kanika Chopra, Assistant Professor in Business Communication. RJ Youngveer mesmerized the audience with his with his hilarious performance.
The judges of all the competitions - literary, creative and IT had a tough time in making decisions as the performances of all the students were commendable and spectacular. The overall trophy for the Best Performing School was bagged by APJ School, Mahavir Marg, Jalandhar. In the end, Dr. Amit Sharma, event coordinator of Apeejay Zenith 2015 proposed vote of thanks to the audience.
