Jalandhar, April 26, 2025: Students of Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar, have brought pride to the school by excelling in prestigious martial arts competitions, reflecting their perseverance, discipline, and sportsmanship.
Bhav Aggarwal of Class VII clinched the Gold Medal in the Younger Cadets (-47kg) Point Fight event at the 14th District Jalandhar Cadets, Junior and Senior (Boys and Girls) Kickboxing Championship 2025, held on 18th April 2025 at the Royal Mix Martial Arts Academy. His remarkable performance stood out among several participants across the district.
Furthering his success, Bhav Aggarwal also secured a Gold Medal, while Harkunwar Singh Dhuper of Class V won a Silver Medal at the 3rd Vovinam State Championship, conducted on 20th April 2025 at Suhag Palace, Kapurthala. The championship featured fierce competition from martial artists across Punjab.
The commendable achievements of the students were guided by the expert coaching of Yadwinder Gupta, whose dedication and mentorship played a pivotal role in their success.
The Principal of the school, Sangeeta Nistandra, congratulated the young achievers and praised Gupta for his excellent coaching. She encouraged all students to continue striving for excellence and to participate actively in co-curricular activities for their all-around development.
