Noida, August 12, 2022: As a gesture of respect and reverence, students of Apeejay School Noida made colourful rakhis for the soldiers who protect our motherland despite all challenges and untiring spirit.

The rakhi-making event was organised keeping in mind the celebrations for India’s 75 years of Independence, for which the Government of India is observing the grand Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav – a 75-week countdown to the Independence Day which officially began on March 12, 2022– as a tribute to the freedom fighters while instilling patriotic fervour in all.

Sayesha Gupta a class VIII student added, “This was a wonderful initiative by our school; the school will be sending our rakhis to the soldiers. I thought it was really nice that our rakhis were meant to depict the bravery of our nation and the ones who dedicated their lives to the protection of all citizens.”

Besides, Apeejay Noida is also observing a week-long celebrations for students to engage in various artistic events and competitions to commemorate the 75 glorious years of our Independence.
