Apeejay holds guest lecture on script writing

Jalandhar, January 30, 2019: Department of Punjabi of Apeejay College of Fine Arts organised a guest lecture on script writing. Noted AIR senior broadcaster and TV artist Sukhwinder Sukhi featured as a resource person for the same. Addressing the occasion, Principal Dr.Sucharita remarked that it is imperative for modern day students to develop reading, writing and literature habits as solely internet is rather insufficient for their all-round development. In his interaction, Sukhi attached great importance to linguistic skill in the field of script writing. He added script is written by keeping in view the genres such as drama, documentary, musical feature, talk or interview.Script writer must include different facts as well as conflict for sustaining the interest of the audiences. Principal Dr.Sucharita appreciated the efforts of Sandeep Singh, Head, Department of Punjabi for organizing this valuable interaction.
