Jalandhar, September 13, 2019: Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar in association with prestigious Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune under its Skilling India in Film & Television (SKIFT) announces a 5 day Film Appreciation Course from 25th to 29th September, 2019.
This course shall be headed by renowned Bollywood Filmmaker and Alumnus at FTII, Munish Bhardwaj who shall introduce the aspirants to the world of Film Making. Milind Damble, Head of Department TV Production, FTII, Pune shall inaugurate the course and Harish, Head of Department, Film Sound, FTII, Pune shall be there during the last day on Valedictory Ceremony.
Under this course, the aspirants shall learn Film Appreciation, Film History, Film Analysis and Film Production i.e. Fiction and Documentary and finally from the seeds of concept of film to the final film. During this, the aspirants will be exposed to history of cinema and the development of cinematic language. Learning the way to analyze films, sessions on the impact of cinema on society and process of preserving film and its heritage shall be followed through interactive discussion, presentations, screening of films and assignments.
Anybody of 18 years and more can get themselves registered in the course till 20th September, 2019 or visit the official site at www.ftii.ac.in and can visit the college.
Principal Dr. Sucharita Sharma putting forth her views on the course said that the aspirants who have interest in the field of Film Making will be benefitted by this a lot in their careers.
