Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has released the exam dates of AP EAMCET 2020 on December 30, 2019. The exam will be conducted on multiple dates, starting from April 20 to 24, 2020. 

 

The exam is conducted for granting admission to students in B.Tech, B.Tech (Agr. Engg), B.Tech (Dairy Technology), B.Tech (Food Science and Tech), B.Sc (Hort), B.Sc (AG), B.V.Sc, & A.H., B.Pharmacy, B.FSc, Parma.D, and other UG courses from many top universities in the state of Andhra Pradesh.


AP EAMCET 2020 will be conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Kakinada. The exam centres for the same are Anantpur, East Godavari, Chitoor, Guntur, Gudlavalleru, Krishna, Kurnool, Chirala, Gudur, Rajam, Bobbili, Anakapalle, Bhimavaram, LB Nagar and Kadapa.


The application form for the exam will be released in February 2020. The application fee for AP EAMCET 2020 is given below:

AP EAMCET Important Dates

Exam Pattern of AP EAMCET 2020
The exam pattern for AP EAMCET 2020 is described below:
•    Exam Type: AP EAMCET will be conducted as a CBT (computer-based test). It will be conducted in 2 sessions- from 10 AM - 1 PM and 2:30 PM - 5:30 PM.
•    Exam Medium: The medium of language is Telugu, Urdu and English. The candidate can choose one language according to his/her preference.
•    A number of questions: A total number of 160 questions will be asked in the AP EAMCET 2020 exam.
•    Sections: There are three sections in the paper- Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics/ Biology. The last section is according to the choice of the candidate.

Type of questions: All questions will be in the form of Multiple Choice Questions.
Marking scheme: One mark is awarded for each correctly answered question, and there is no negative marking for wrongly answered questions.
 

AP EAMCET 2020 Eligibility Criteria 
Various factors like age, nationality and previous academic qualifications are considered as the criteria for eligibility to give AP EAMCET 2020.
Age Limit: The lower age limit for B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (FS & T) and B.Tech. (Ag. Engineering) is 17 years as on 31 December of the year of admission while 22 years is the upper age limit. The upper age limit has been relaxed to 25 years for candidates belonging to SC and ST categories. Lower age limit for all other engineering courses is 16 years, and there is no upper age limit for them.
Nationality: All those students with Indian nationality or with PIO/ OCI cards are eligible to apply. Those candidates domiciled in Andhra Pradesh or Telangana are eligible to appear for the exam.
Academic Qualification: In order to be eligible to appear for AP EAMCET 2020, there are two criteria. The candidate must fulfil one of them.

1. The candidate must have cleared 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects while Chemistry as optional or related vocational courses in the fields of Technology and Engineering, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education with bridge courses or with courses conducted for students enrolled from 2000 onwards or any other equivalent examination.
2. He or she must have cleared or appeared for the final year examination of Diploma in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training or any other equivalent.  

 

The examination dates for AP ECET, AP ICET, AP PGECET, AP EDCET, AP LAWCET, AP B. Arch. CET has also been released by APSCHE.
