Anti-ragging awareness program at the Dental College
An anti-ragging awareness program was organized at the Dental College of Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences on Saturday. The program aimed to raise awareness among first and second year BDS students about the ill effects of ragging.
Rohtak, February 14, 2026: An anti-ragging awareness program was organized at the Dental College of Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences on Saturday. The program aimed to raise awareness among first and second year BDS students about the ill effects of ragging.
The chief guest, Dr. Sanjay Singh (member, Dental Council of India), highlighted the harmful effects of ragging and explained its consequences. He said that ragging is a serious crime and carries severe punishment. He appealed to the students to be aware of ragging and contribute to the fight against it.
Principal Dr. Sanjay Tiwari also shared his views on the ragging and advised students to be vigilant against it. He said that ragging is a social evil and everyone must unite to fight against it.
Various activities were organized to raise awareness among students about ragging. Students committed to combat ragging and pledged to fight it. They stated that they would remain vigilant against ragging and contribute to the fight against it. Dr. R.K. Sharma, Dr. Manjunath, Dr. Shikha Tiwari, Dr. Shashi Bala, Dr. Harneet Singh, Dr. Vipul, Dr. Ambika, Dr. Adarsh, Dr. Ritu Namdev, along with members of the Anti-Ragging Committee and Anti-Ragging Squad, senior residents, PG students, and BDS students were also present on the occasion. Principal Dr. Sanjay Tiwari gave the vote of thanks.
