Khanna,November 9, 2017: An Anti Drug Cross country rally was organized by Khanna District Police with the help of Youth Athletics Club Khanna in which about 700 participants participated.
The race started from A.S School Ground Khanna and passed through main bazaar Khanna. The participants were shouting slogans such as `Say No To Drugs’. They were accompanied among others by SP(H) Khanna Balwinder Singh Bhikhi and SP(I) Khanna RPS Sandhu.
Participants were searing T-shirts carrying message against drugs.
Police officials in their motivational address to the participants appealed to stay away from drugs for the better future.
As per DSP(H) Vikas Sabharwal more than 700 participants including police personnel, club members and common men including youths participated in the rally.
Mani Chopra, President of the Club, Bhupinder Singh coach and a number of sports lovers of the City and area took part in this rally.
