Dharamshala, October 6, 2025: In a commendable gesture toward public welfare, IDBI Bank today donated an ambulance to the District Red Cross Society, Dharamshala, for the benefit of patients at the Regional Hospital, Dharamshala, and Dr. Rajendra Prasad Medical College, Tanda.
Speaking on the occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner Vinay Kumar lauded the initiative, describing it as a meaningful contribution toward strengthening the spirit of humanitarian service in society. He said the ambulance will enable the Red Cross Society to provide timely medical assistance to the needy, the sick, and patients in emergency situations.
He added that the District Administration and the Red Cross Society will ensure that the ambulance is utilized effectively for the service of humanity and social welfare.
Expressing gratitude to IDBI Bank, the ADC thanked Regional Head Ashok Kumar Singhal, the bank’s team, local branch manager, and all staff members for their generous support. He said such contributions not only enhance healthcare facilities but also inspire other organizations to participate actively in social service initiatives.
The ambulance donated by IDBI Bank, he noted, will bring new energy and capacity to the Red Cross Society’s humanitarian efforts.
