Another creative programme for youth and senior citizens 

Jalandhar: Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar has come forward with another creative programme for Youth and Senior citizens of our society. Hobby Classes in Fine Arts, Music, Dance and Fashion Makeover have begun in College Campus.
Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra sharing her views about these Hobby Classes said that Apeejay College has always been in forefront when it comes to promote and support Art. She added many a time senior citizens due to other responsibilities have not been able to pursue their hobbies; so now it is a golden opportunity for them to hold that brush again or tap few steps along with music.

In Fine Arts Class, the students will learn about – Water Colours, Electric Colours and Fabric Colours from Ms. Amandeep Kaur; in Music Class, they will learn basic Sargam and Ghazals from Dr. Mandeep Singh; In Dance Class the students can learn Contemporary and Classical moves from Dr. Santosh Vyas and Dr. Ranjana and In Fashion Make Over Class, Ms Meenal Sandhu will teach them about Skin Care techniques, Quick Make – Up tricks for grooming and Hair styling.

Sharing her experience of Fine Arts and Dance classes, Ms. Sabeena Bhasin, Director, Bhaseen Sports and Personality Development Trainer said that to pursue the hobby at this age indeed fills the heart with ecstasy. Dr. Amita Sharma, leading Gynecologist attending Music Classes put forth that to fulfill your childhood dream at this age is indeed a golden opportunity which Apeejay College has brought for us. Dr. Anju Sharma who is learning Makeup techniques said that being in Medical profession, she never had time to learn these skills but now in this phase of life it is a pleasure to learn something which one has always wanted to.

Dr. Neerja Dhingra added that the students can enroll themselves for these Classes for minimum 1 month and maximum 3 months.
