Amity University Gurugram starting yet another batch of Suryamitra Skill Development Program in association with NISE

Amity University Gurugram is starting yet another batch of Suryamitra Skill Development Program in association with NISE (National Institute of Solar Energy) Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) in from 01 May, 2019. The course objective is to develop skilled and employable workforce (Suryamitras) catering to the needs of Solar PV industries and EPC projects.
Suryamitra is a residential, free of cost program for duration of 600 hrs with full placement support. Qualification for the program is ITI (Electrician, Wireman, Electronics) OR Diploma (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics).
Dr Padmakali, Pro Vice Chancellor of AUH expressed her happiness and congratulated the team for the completion of four successful batches which have transformed many lives.
Dr Subhra Das, the project in-charge informed us that candidates who completed the programme from Amity are now working successfully and some are now running their own businesses. Dr Reena Nigam, HoD Amity Skills Institute emphasized on the importance of soft skills and communication that are a very important part of Suryamitra programme and contribute immensely in the success of ‘Suryamitras’.
