Panchkula, June 28, 2026: "Food should never be wasted, people need to  respect food and ensure that any surplus food is donated or served to those in need—whether humans or animals". This was stated by Amitabh Rungta, founder of the Purushottam Das Rungta Charitable Trust and a well-known social worker, during the Trust's 221st community food distribution , or Ann Bhandara organized for the general public in Panchkula's Industrial Area, Phase I.
