Amit Shah’s Shaheedi Diwas Words Made the Nation Bow to the Sahibzadas’ Eternal Sacrifice: Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal Bhukhri Kalan
Ludhiana, December 28, 2025: National BJP leader, Advocate Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal Bhukhri Kalan said that hearing the deeply moving words and heartfelt emotions expressed by the Union Home Minister Amit Shah on the historic Shaheedi Diwas of the Sahibzadas filled his heart with profound reverence, gratitude and humility. He said that with complete devotion, sincerity and respect he truly appreciates the truth, honesty and moral courage with which Amit Shah addressed the Sikh Sangat, honoured the glorious legacy of the Sikh Gurus and paid a respectful tribute to the eternal sacrifices of the Sahibzadas from the national stage.
Grewal wrote on his social media accounts Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, Instagram and especially on X that when Amit Shah shared that even today his soul trembles while remembering those sacred moments and spoke about the unimaginable strength of Mata Gujri Ji who sent her tender grandsons with tied turbans to Aurangzeb’s court, instilling fearlessness, dignity and unshakable faith in them it was not merely a speech but a heartfelt bow to Sikh history itself. He said that these words reflected the timeless values planted by Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji in the Sahibzadas, never bow, never fear and remain steadfast for Dharma. Such values are rarely imparted by parents and even more rarely understood by society yet they continue to guide humanity.
Grewal said that the reference to the immortal proclamation of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj “Char Muey Taan Kya Hoya Jeevat Kai Hazaar” was expressed by Amit Shah with deep truth, reverence and sensitivity, reminding the world that tyranny may appear powerful but righteousness lives forever. He said that this sincere expression made it clear that the sacrifices of the Sahibzadas were not losses but the birth of millions who remain ever ready to protect faith, humanity and the motherland.
He said that by tracing the sacred journey from Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s resistance to tyranny through the Udasis, the spiritual unity of Bharat, the social revolution of Langar, equality and compassion, the supreme sacrifice of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, the establishment of the Khalsa by the Tenth Guru and the ultimate victory of truth, Amit Shah presented Sikh history with accuracy, dignity and deep sensitivity. This honest narration reflected understanding, respect and a heartfelt connection with Sikh heritage.
Grewal told that such sincere acknowledgment by the Home Minister of India strengthens trust, heals hearts and unites the nation. It reassures the Sikh Sangat across Bharat and the world that their sacrifices are remembered, honoured and deeply embedded in the soul of New India.
Grewal expressed his heartfelt appreciation to Amit Shah for speaking the truth with courage, compassion and historical clarity on this most sacred and inspiring day.
