Ambassadors of Eco Club celebrated `World Earth Day' under theme 'A Vision: Green India, Clean India'

Jalandhar, April 22, 2024: Under 'Disha-an initiative' run by Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, giving the message of 'Green India, Clean India', many activities were organized for the students of Eco Club, Art Club, Literary Club, Disaster Management Club on 'World Earth Day' in all the five schools of Innocent Hearts (Green Model Town, Loharan, Nurpur Road, Cantt.- Jandiala Road and Kapurthala Road). Through the 'Nurture with Nature' activity, the Eco Club students gave information to the children of Innokids' class Discoverers and Scholars about making compost pits, separating dry and wet waste, collecting fallen leaves from trees and making beautiful hangings, etc. A coloring competition was organized for the children of grades I and II, in which they carved various colors in the shapes of Save Earth.  Children of grades III and IV participated in origami art activity by bringing their imaginations alive. Slogan writing was done on 'Protectors of the Motherland' was done by the children of grade V and extempore activity on the topic 'Go Green' was organized for grade VI. Slogan writing and poster making competition on 'A Vision: Green India, Clean India' was organized for the students of grade VII. Students wrote beautiful messages for the protection of the earth. Students planted plants that provide oxygen round the clock and medicinal plants like Tulsi, Aloe Vera, Cactus. Children were motivated to protect the environment and keep the earth clean.
The teachers gave information about environmental conservation to the students. They motivated the students to keep the earth green and clean and to conserve natural wealth.
