Amazon miniTV hosts a unique screening of Slum Golf with the locals amidst applause and adulation!

Mumbai, November 23, 2023: Amazon miniTV - Amazon’s free video streaming service has released its most anticipated sports drama, Slum Golf. The series has already sparked a frenzy among the fans since its announcement, building curiosity to unfold the inspirational story of Pawan, series is inspired from true stories from the slums of Chembur in Mumbai. Taking the excitement to the next level, the streaming service hosted a special screening of Slum Golf with the cast including Sharad Kelkar, and Arjan Aujla. The cast assembled for a distinctive screening in Chembur where the phenomenon of Slum Golf began, the screening was specially organized for the caddies, gardeners and others along with their families who work at nearby Bombay Presidency Club. During the special screening, the audience showered the cast with affection, recognizing their dedication to the series. The cast also recounted their experiences and interactions in the lanes and by lanes while sharing their journey with the people present.

Created by Temple Bells Films and directed by Sujay Dahake, Slum Golf follows the journey of a young boy, Pawan who lives in the slums of Mumbai and dreams of being a professional golfer. Despite obstacles in his life, societal norms, and financial situation, he follows his ambition with tenacity and self-belief. The show takes a strong stand against the financial and social struggles that slum dwellers experience while depicting the diverse social life of Mumbai.
