Alumni meet at Zoology, PU

Chandigarh, February 9, 2019: Panjab University(PU) : The environs of Department of Zoology, Panjab University, Chandigarh is buzzing this week with the preparations of Alumni meet organized by Zoology Department Alumni Association, to rejuvenate the good old times and memories of the Alumni members. The event will be held on 10th February, 2019, according to the schedule specified on the invitation card. At this occasion, all the alumni of the old batches will make their way back to the department to enjoy a glimpse of youth and to meet their old companions. Vice-Chancellor of Panjab University, Prof. Raj Kumar will be the Chief Guest of this event. The event will be started with a welcome speech, to greet all the guests in the gathering followed by a lively cultural programme and a thought provoking quiz about the history of the Department. After this, some distinguished members of the Alumni (to name one of them, Mrs. Satija, student of first batch of department when Panjab University campus shifted in Chandigarh from Hoshiarpur. There were only five students in the department at that time) will be felicitated, to recognize and celebrate their achievements and contributions.
