Alumni Meet titled as `Abhinandan’ at PCM S.D. College for Women

PCM S.D College for Women, Jalandhar organised its alumni meet  titled as `Abhinandan’ at a very grand level . At this occasion, our alumnae made their way back to their college to enjoy a glimpse of their youth and met their old pals by tight passionate hugs.

Jalandhar, January 28, 2023: PCM S.D College for Women, Jalandhar organised its alumni meet  titled as `Abhinandan’ at a very grand level . At this occasion, our alumnae made their way back to their college to enjoy a glimpse of their youth and met their old pals by tight passionate hugs. 

Dr Neena Mittal, Associate Professor, Department of Hindi was the in-charge of the Alumni Meet, who gave a warm welcome to the Alumnae. All the old students were in their exclusive shades and colors, driving away the dire fact of growing old and became a young student again. They revived and rejuvenated their old memories and moments with their old friends and lit up their faces with the beautiful divine smiles. 

The Principal of the college Prof.Dr.Pooja Prashar gave an official welcome to the revered alumnae. More than 80 alumnae graced the college. Most prominent among them were Monika Dutt, Assistant  Director Programs at All India Radio, Dr. Renuka Gambhir, Associate Professor in Govt PG College, Hissar, Dr.Sharmila Nakra, Deputy Director in Innocent Hearts chain of schools , Varun Kaur Mann , News Anchor on International TV Channel, Dr.Vandana Sharma, Assistant Professor in Central University,  Jammu and Rekha Kashap, Artist. After so many years, the revival of college life made them feel ecstatic. A meet with old yet evergreen friends moistened their eyes. Different fun filled activities were held for them to celebrate old days. Nail Art and Tattoo stalls were also laid up. Humour was in the air. This celebration of millennia stretched till evening. Every alumnae present acknowledged the fact that SD is continuing and carrying forward the old mission of imparting true education and serving the nation in true sense and in producing skillful citizens. 

The vote of thanks  was proposed by   Priya Mahajan, in-charge of the Alumni Meet.   Shikha Puri, Assistant Professor of Commerce held the stage. President  Naresh Kumar Budhia,  Senior Vice-President  Vinod Dada  and the worthy  Principal acknowledged the efforts of the faculty members in making the event a success.
