Alumni Meet Reunion held in Doaba College

Jalandhar, December 12, 2022: Gems DCJ Alumni Association of Doaba College Jalandhar organised Alumni Meet- Reunion in Doaba College today. Dhruv Mittal- Treasurer, graced the occasion as Chief Guest; Sanjay Sabharwal- Member, College Managing Committee, Major General Rajiv Rai- MD HR International Holdings UK, Dr. Surjit Lal- District Nodal Education Officer, Advocate Sushil Sharma- District President BJP, Balwinder Vicky, Davinder Bablu, Inderjit Singh Rahi, Advocate Vivek Joshi- National Awardee, Dr. Kulwant Singh, Harpreet Rimpi, Dr. Surinder Jagal as guests of honour. The dignitaries were accorded a hearty welcome by Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari, Dr. Avinash Chander, Dr. Suresh Mago, Faculty & students.

Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari formally welcomed the distinguished old students and said that Alumni are the backbone of any institution and these relevant stakeholders play vital role in the progress of the college. Major General Anurag Chibber, Dr. Surjit Lal, Advocate Sushil Sharma, Dr. Kinderpal Bangar, Paramjit Sachdeva Dr. Surinder Jagal delved in the old fruitful memories about their meaningful stay in college and said that the final values viz self control, restrain, discipline, hard work, helping attitude, regularity and punctuality instilled in them by their college teachers have helped them to carve a niche in society. Alumni Sh. Alok Sondhi, Jaspreet Singh, Paramjit Sachdeva, Dinesh Aggarwal and Harish Vijan contributed financially for the uplifment of the college. Rajiv Rai announced handsome scholarship to be given to the needy and outstanding students of the college in future and he motivated all the alumni present to walk hand in hand with the college for its progress. Ace comedian Balwinder Vicky enthralled the audience with his comic performance.

The college students presented songs and dance items on the occasion. Prof. Sakshi Chopra conducted the fun games event. Prof. Priya Chopra conducted the stage.
