Alumni Meet held At GHG Khalsa College Gurusar Sadhar

Ludhiana, February 12, 2022: The annual alumni meet of Guru Hargobind Khalsa College Gurusar Sudhar, Ludhiana was successfully held. At the commencement of this meet, the alumni of the college, Late. Colonel Jaswant Singh, Principal, Bhagwant Singh, Mr. Ranjit Singh Takhar, Engineer Amarjit Singh Thind Mohi and Principal, Tarsem Bahia, Dr. Surjit Singh Haans and Ground Man, Mr. Ram Lot were paid tributes on their demise. 

Working President of Alumni Association and College Principal, Dr. Harpreet Singh, welcomed all the students, connected through online and offline modes, and urged them to continue their association with the College. In his address, he said that the alumni of any institution play a vital role in its development. That is why, we warmly invite the students to remain in contact with the college. 

Secretary of the Association, Dr. Baljinder Singh,  presented the Annual Report of the Association. Former Principal, Dr. Manjit Singh Khatra, Dr. Daljinder Singh Johal, Mr. Kewal Singh Heran, Mr. Harjit Singh, Dr.  Sandeep Dakha, Mr. Jarnail Singh Gill, Prof.  Hardial Singh, Mr. Pyara Singh Natt, Mr. Ranjit Singh Gill, Mrs. Manjit Kaur Sekhon, Mrs. Inderpal Kaur Dhillon, Mr.  Sarabjit Singh Dhaliwal, Mr.  Mandeep Singh Gill and Prof. Paramjit Kaur shared their memories of the college. 

The students of the Department of Music, presented cultural program under the guidance of Dr. Sonia Ahuja. Prof. Jaswant Singh Goraya, gave a vote of thanks to everyone present there. He said that Alumni should not feel alienated in the college as the college is always theirs. 

At the end of the meet, Bhangra was performed by the Bhangra team of the college. All the members of the staff of GHG Khalsa College were also present on the occasion.
